I’m Karen Lee Field, an Australian author who writes fiction for both children and adults. My stories range from fantasy and adventure to mystery, with a particular focus on sparking the imagination and taking readers beyond the everyday.
Originally born in London, England, I moved with my family to Australia when I was seven and have called it home ever since. Today, I live on the beautiful south coast of New South Wales with my husband.
I’ve always loved stories, whether reading them, writing them, or discussing them with fellow book lovers. While novels are my primary focus, I’ve also had short fiction published and enjoy supporting the writing community through this website, where I share articles on writing, publishing, and books.
When I’m not writing, you’ll usually find me reading, researching family history, exploring the past through subjects such as Medieval history and Ancient Egypt, knitting, or enjoying long walks with family and friends.
