I love reading and generally review every book I read. Reviews are published on this website and may also be shared on Goodreads and LibraryThing to help readers discover new authors and stories.
If you are an author or publisher looking for an honest review, I may be able to help. While I cannot accept every book offered, I welcome review requests that fit the genres and guidelines outlined below.
Important: All reviews are completely honest. Providing a review copy does not guarantee a positive review, and acceptance of a review copy does not guarantee that a review will ultimately be published.
Genres I Actively Seek
Children’s and Young Adult Fiction
I am particularly interested in books written for younger readers, especially:
- Adventure
- Fantasy
- Mystery
Adult Fiction
I am also interested in:
- Fantasy
- Mystery
- Romance
- Feel-good fiction
Books with strong characters, engaging plots, memorable settings, and compelling storytelling are especially appealing.
Genres I Do Not Accept
Please do not submit:
- Erotica
- Horror
- Non-fiction
- Poetry
If your book falls outside my preferred genres but you believe it would appeal to me or my readers, feel free to contact me with details. I am always willing to consider something different if it genuinely catches my interest.
Series Policy
I am happy to consider the first book in a series.
If you would like me to review a later book in a series, please understand that I may need access to earlier books to fully appreciate the story and its characters. Requests to review books deep into a long-running series are unlikely to be accepted unless I am already familiar with the series.
Preferred Formats
I accept review copies in the following formats:
- Paperback
- Audiobook
- EPUB
- MOBI
PDF copies will not be accepted.
Where Reviews Are Published
Reviews may be published on:
- This website
- Goodreads
- LibraryThing
Reviews typically include:
- My thoughts on the book
- Discussion of the characters, plot, pacing, and setting
- The book cover
- The official blurb
- A star rating
Important Conditions
By submitting a book for review, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- I reserve the right to decline any review request.
- Acceptance of a review copy does not guarantee a review.
- I reserve the right not to finish a book if it fails to hold my interest.
- I reserve the right not to publish a review for any book I accept.
- If I do publish a review, it will be my honest opinion.
- I am under no obligation to provide a positive review.
Life is too short to read books I am not enjoying, and I believe it is better for both authors and readers if I review only books that I can engage with fairly and honestly.
