My Library
A few months ago Lee Carlon installed a plugin called Now Reading. Every time I’ve visited Lee’s blog since then (which on average is at least twice a week), I’ve been reminded that I wanted to install the plugin here too, but one thing or another always seemed to be more important and it never happened.
Today, after visiting Lee’s site again yesterday, I decided to make time and I did just that. I’ve added Scribe’s Library to the site and have added all the books I’ve read for 2007 only. I could go back further – in fact, I could go back four years – but I honestly don’t see the point.
Now Reading is easy to install and easy to use. You certainly don’t need a degree to find your way around it and it fits in with the template without any hiccups (although I would like to get rid of that solid disc beside the image; maybe I’ll work on that another day).
If you visit my library you’ll see I mainly read young adults fantasy, but there are a few non-fiction books in there too and, now, I’m reading the thickest book imaginable… :p
Illusion by Paula Volsky is my favourite book. I read it about…oh, twelve or so years ago and can remember most of the story quite well, but I’m enjoying this second read. In fact, I think I’m appreciating it more now that I’m older, wiser and a writer. A proper review will be written when I’ve finished the book.

It is an excellent plugin, and it looks like the author plans to add comments to book pages (sometime) which will be a great feature.
Love the new look, Karen.
Thanks, Lee. There are a couple of things I’ll be looking into (attempting) to change in the plugin, but for now I’m happy with what I’ve got.
I’ve tinkered with it a tiny bit, so if you get stuck feel free to fire any questions at me, I’m not promising I can help of course.
there is a forum on the author’s that seems to have a lot of answers so that’s always a good place to try too.
Of course I’m not trying to say you won’t be able to figure it out yourself, I’m sure you will.
