Keeping Up With the Times
Networking seems to be the in thing at the moment, so after joining Facebook the other day, I decided to also join MySpace. I’ve spent many hours messing around on both of these communities over the last four or five days, but the pages are set up now.
One thing that did amaze me was that I’m the only person to sign up on Facebook (apparently) who attended Ingleburn High School. The school isn’t even listed in their network system, but I have sent in a request to have that changed. Then, on Myspace, I discovered only one other person who graduated in the same year I did. Unfortunately, the system doesn’t show last names so I don’t even know if I know the person concerned.

Instead of joining Facebook, I joined Bebo - for some reason loads of people in Scotland seem to use that one. I thought I would never use it but I’m on it all the time! I like it because I’m already in touch with a boy who was in my class at school (not that he’s a boy anymore!) I think this is one big advantage of the internet, being able to contact people you otherwise would never hear from again.
Well, I’ve now joined Bebo too. I must be insane!
